Version 0.7.1 [4/11/15]
- Next chapter of the game.
- One new sex scene.
- Minor fixes.
- Fixed two potentially game-freezing bugs.
- Minor rebalancing.
Here it is. ^^ Unless I introduced new problems fixing those bugs, should be a fairly smooth experience. There are some known typos and graphical errors, but they're fixed on version 0.8.0 - I've already branched and I'm deep into work on that.
Not sure if it's just me, but the first download link requires a decryption key. Am I missing something?

ReplyDeletethe gameplay, the story and the flow is good. though it would be better if you add an npc/event to list available quest/quest taken. the other one would be the ending. it would be better to add teleport station(go back to stanfield) on the ending map. as there is nothing that I can do at that point.
just curious.. does simon only have supress lust skill on the sex based spell? I was currious and used cheat engine after I got Yarra to boost everyone's level. Thanks

DeleteJust finished downloading 0.7.1. and tried loading the newest save, *voila* the story continues, which is really neat... though shouldn't there an option to go back to stineford(I miss read that in the prev comment)? I am really sorry if this one sounds like I'm nagging(which I really am doing right now *wink*). what about a fast forward feature for people who keeps only the latest save files(in my case sometimes I rarely save/use one slot all the time). like using the endgame map to mark a chapter(or ask people who already got there) whether they want to go forward, or return to the previous checkpoint, or choose a chapter. really can't wait to finish ver 0.7.1 soon.

If you were playing version 0.5.x and made the decision to leave Stineford before saving, no, there's no option to return. A fast forward option isn't out of the question, but it would probably be buggy as hell.
Deletehmm I don't know about your switches.. but isn't it easy to reset it? though it's 2 version older.. I would love if it if you could implement it in 0.8 though(the end game map teleporter).
Deleteon a side note, on 0.6 there are 2 sex scene in the Stineford. 1 is in the brothel(slum) and where is the other one? is it related to a quest? My only guess would be in the bed on blue rose or the succubus lair....
The two sex scenes are both with the brothel succubus: one before and one after you know about the succubus tower. As for the request: suggestion received, we'll see what happens. ^^

first, an item to go to the end of game map. Then a chapter selection in the end game map (this might promote grinding, then again I don't know how your switches goes). and as you said before.. it might be buggy. well.. if not a chapter selection, then a map teleporter? (it's better to put "might be buggy" or "do this at your own risk" on the item description.
second, about the optional dungeon, when will we be able to challenge it again? and about the ancient fucklord armor.. it is missing from inventory. someone might want to put that on.

hmm.. when I re-read my previous suggestions.. looks like all I've suggests are ways to get around the chapter/maps... how should I say it.. I've played several rpg maker hentai games such as LOQO & Overwhored. while LOQO may be complicated and have lots of hidden secrets, there is a wiki to help get around those. As of Overwhored, the story flow and combat are similar to yours yet it's simpler that it is hard to miss any scenes. then again as the creator it is up to you how you want to make your game, but as a player(or cheater *wink*) I'd say that it is a shame to miss any scene you've tried so hard to make.
For the optional dungeon, you can only go through it once, but you will have two chances: first when you first go through Devil's Pass and later on your return trip to Ardoheim. As for the armor, check the dialogue carefully.
DeleteOn teleporting and getting all the scenes, I will say I'm trying to make a game with some depth. Something anyone can enjoy playing, but that's complex enough to be worthy of guides/wikis/etc.

DeleteFound a serious bug. When you get to the burning farm, then talk to the orc, but before going forward you go back and enter the house, then leave, the orc will blocks your way forever.

DeleteI'm curious about a couple things in the game. At one point, Yarra mentions that every girl Simon has sex with will increase his power. Is this tracked in-game? Like, if he visits each of the prostitutes in Steinfeld, will this be reflected later on? I ask because my last playthrough I refrained because it dropped the relationship ranking with Aka. Will those rankings have an effect too? Can we expect additional content to unlock if it's high enough?
ReplyDeleteYarra's line is true in a game lore sense, but it requires more than a few prostitutes to produce a statistical effect. My intention was only for this decision to be Yarra vs Aka affection.
DeleteThose relationship levels will definitely matter. There's already one sex scene that only occurs if your numbers are high enough and you can expect more. I plan to incentivize players to max as many characters as possible, both with sex scenes and gameplay bonuses.

DeleteThe issue with asking for authentication is actually caused by the extra space in the first link. If you're having this issue, copy the url but remove the space at the end and it should work fine.

How do i trigger the academy events can't figure it out?

Delete1) If you can't get into the Academy, go back to the inn and sleep.
2) If you've already been inside, talk to Robin.
I cant get into the academy. when I sleep nothing triggers afterwards and ive tried it several times even restarted the save.

DeleteHey, I have a small-ish gameplay/lore concern.
ReplyDeleteFor example, Yarra can do a Shared Fantasy with...herself. While I don't doubt succubae have a lot of fetishes, I found it funny, rather than compelling.
Also, Cumdump can use the Healing Kiss, Cleansing Wink and Arousing Kiss on herself. That's also rather funny, in the sense that I don't really think she understands how a kiss is supposed to work.
Of course, removing that might make some fights a lot harder, albeit there's only two or so places where fights are tight and require min-maxing (The Fell Spider house and the green teleporting-tile ruins.) The Fell Spider House can be cleared one fight at a time with rests in between, but the green ruins are almost certainly balanced on the edge.
There was a controversy about this before, and for version 0.6.0 it was made impossible for those abilities to be used on the user. Ultimately we decided to go back to the status quo for the sake of keeping gameplay fun.

Another question about the combat mechanics. Do you have plans for Simon to gain more combat abilities based on sex power(for lack of a better term) like the "Suppress Lust" ability? I could see him gaining abilities that either grant bonuses against, or are powerful against, female enemies, similarly to another adult game called Elysium.
ReplyDeleteYes, definitely. Right now Simon has the capacity but not the training - he'll replace Suppress Lust with better abilities at a certain point in the plot.

Assuming you're talking about that sex scene at the end of the Stanford chapter where they all have fun at the end, how exactly do you get that? Because my Simon slept with every prostitute in the city and Yarra was extremely happy while Aka.. well not so much. I'm just worried that I'll miss on something because I want Yarra's relationship to be as high as possible.

Let me see...
Delete- Each character has their own relationship value from 0 to 100.
- The Stineford scene is based on the combined values of Yarra, Aka, and Qum. Most threesomes/orgies will work this way.
- Starting in version 0.8.0, each character will have individual sex scenes if their affection is high enough (just wrote them, actually!).
- At 100 affection characters are locked and this will change dialogue. For example, if it was possible to have Aka at 100 so early in the game, I'd have included alternate dialogue for the prostitutes where she's fine with it.
- Eventually relationships will grant access to more optional content than just sex scenes, and this will have some small impact on the main story.

There will be sex scenes not based on affection levels as well as multiple opportunities to raise Aka's affection.

The former. 100 is the maximum value and once reached, that character's affection will no longer go down.

DeleteI found this game recently and it's pretty great so far. The only major feature it's missing is some kind of gallery so can see sex scenes you've already unlocked again. Since there are only 16 save slots you're rather limited without that.

Delete1) Janine will join the harem but not the party.
2) Affection changes when you make a major decision a character cares about. So if you've done everything in this version, you've raised it as much as you can for now.
MAJOR bug. In the farm you arrive at after the trading camp where everyone is slaughtered, there's an orc you talk to who makes way for you. Well if you talk to him and he makes way for you and you go into the house instead of walking across the path he gets out of your way from, he resets back into it when you leave. However, when you talk to him again he moves up but instead of moving RIGHT into the hole made for him, he moves LEFT against a tree and doesn't get out of your way.
ReplyDeleteThe result is that there's no way to progress. I don't mean to sound bitter here but I saved after beating the monster in the house and now this savefile is useless. Devs really ought to consider just simple triggers for speech once a certain treshhold is crossed instead of elaborate triggers like this that can break very, very easily.
Don't worry, I can fix your save file manually. This bug is fixed in the current version (the problem is actually that the blood is blocking his path), but if you don't want to wait send me the file and I'll move you.

The newest version is 0.8.1 and it's only available to Patreon backers right now. Usually there's a week between private and public release, but the next version is a remake that adds custom art and some new systems to the game. I've been waiting on art and working hard to get it bug free, so it's taking longer than usual.
DeleteYou have finished three "sections" of the game. You're just about to enter a large city with many sidequests, so it could be one section or more depending on how many you do. After that, there are two more sections the length of the ones you've finished (three as of version 0.8.1). I'll send you an email with your file shortly, so read that for more info.
